Иногда надо делать себе маленькие подарки. В этом я абсолютно уверен. Потрафить себе любимому приятно, особенно если вдруг вспоминаешь о каком-то незаконченном деле. Или вещи, что давно уже присматривал, но она как-то постоянно ускользала из поля зрения. Буквально на днях одна из них появилась в зоне видимости вновь, и решение пришло спонтанно.
Я хочу сразу вам сказать, что с обзорами колонок для компьютера у меня все в порядке, во времена оны писал даже сравнение (очень серьезное) для одного игрового издания. Очень, очень был титанический труд. Когда все выводы строились из ощущений от прослушивания. С тех пор я искренне полюбил Microlab. Действительно, даже какая-нибудь недорогая штука в их исполнении вполне пристойно себя ведет рядом с компьютером. Что сейчас у компании с ассортиментом, я не знаю. Но, уверен, если бы я потратил вот эти самые семь с лишком тысяч на систему Microlab, то получил бы гораздо лучшие ощущения именно от звука.
Это точно, даже можно обойтись без хиромантии.
Нет-нет, в Harman/Kardon свой хлеб едят не зря, обожаю портативную Go + Play, нравятся и другие решения. Мотивация в данном случае была проста. Да, решение от Microlab за те же деньги будет лучше. Но где же очарование? Где же маркетинговые игры? Ведь каждый любитель Apple знает — так уж пошло, что еще первые Sound Sticks постоянно фигурировали рядом с ноутбуками MacBook в различных материалах. Своего рода культовый аксессуар.
Очень не хотелось разочароваться, и замечательно, что этого не произошло.
Дизайн, конструкция
В довольно компактной коробке не так уж и много всего. Сабвуфер, колонки, блок питания, инструкция — скромно. Даже нет пульта ДУ или чего-то подобного. Про дизайн надо сказать отдельно. Во-первых, колонки чем-то напоминают старые iMac. Тубы из прозрачного пластика, видны все внутренности. Подставки колонок — резиновые кругляши, похожие на ручной эспандер. Колонки крепятся стяжками, их легко наклонить вперед или назад. Про сабвуфер много не расскажешь — ну сабвуфер, ну и все. Во-вторых, мне не очень понравились кой-какие мелочи. Например, почему было не сделать кабели белыми. Так сказать, в тему. Довольно убогий штекер. В сабвуфере после включения горит лампочка Ильича, чего-то такого особого в этом нет совсем. Единственный прок от подсветки — не будешь пинать сабвуфер ночью. В том смысле, что его видно издалека. Длина кабелей прилична, у меня получилось поставить систему на столе как положено, и остался запас. В-третьих, общее впечатление больше положительное. Когда достал все добро, поставил на столе рядом с MBP 17, смотрится здорово. Правда, надо бы в столе сделать дырку для кабелей — так оно будет лучше.
Управление
На сабвуфере есть кнопка включения, на одной из колонок — сенсорные кнопки регулировки громкости. К ним нужна привычка, при нажатии и удержании громкость плавно сползает вниз или поднимается, проще совсем не пользоваться этими кнопками и делать все с ноутбука. Немного обидно, что не предусмотрели пульта или еще чего-то подобного.
Система используется в паре с MacBook Pro 17, и тут мне бы очень хотелось избежать поговорки «всяк кулик свое болото хвалит». Потому что любой человек, потративший деньги на ту или иную вещь, поневоле начинает принимать оборонительную позицию – особенно, если кто-то говорит, что куплен был ночной кошмар и ужас.
Так вот. В свое время, лет этак пять назад, у меня в кабинете стояла система Microlab. Что-то вспомнил. Это была этакая вариация на тему Sound Sticks, прозрачные круглые колонки, сабвуфер. В принципе, за свои деньги ничего так приспособление. Играла музыку неплохо, тоже использовал ее с ноутбуком. После этого компьютерными колонками не пользовался вообще никогда — до теперешнего момента.
Так вот, если сравнивать, то сравнивать я не могу, потому как плохо помню тот звук. Зато я могу слышать Sound Sticks II. Неплохо. Есть очень сильная зависимость от качества композиции, как ни странно. Просто в недрах ноутбука есть много старых записей, мягко говоря, никаких. Но дорогих по тем или иным причинам. К сожалению, когда их включаешь, удовольствия нет. Уж больно плоско и без огонька.
Зато очень мне понравилось слушать музыку, например, в формате .flac (ну, или ALAC). Например, совершенно случайно нашел альбом Odelay, поет там песни Beck! плюс приняли участие The Dust Brothers (эти же парни делали звуковую дорожку к фильму «Бойцовский клуб»). Очень интересный альбом, советую и вам. И еще я купил диск Прокофьева, очень мне хотелось переслушать один момент в сказке «Петя и волк». Колонки и тут порадовали, вполне хорошо. Или, может быть, это я так после ноутбучных говорю. Хотя вряд ли. Правда-правда, играют хорошо — если оценивать их только как периферию для ноутбука.
Выводы
Стоимость колонок я уже озвучил, найти можно и за шесть и лишним тысяч, и за восемь. При желании все возможно. Повторюсь, за эти деньги можно купить ну просто очень хорошую систему Microlab. Но я лично — доволен. Мне нравится дизайн, если не брать в расчет мелочи, нравится качество звука. Мне не нравится управление и отсутствие пульта.
Такую штуку если и покупать, то только слегка не дружащим с головой владельцам MacBook — вроде как собираем набор. Совместимость здесь — сто процентов, прежде всего по внешнему виду, флеру, плюшу и всему, что полагается. Довольно дорогая, но очаровательная игрушка.
P.S. После съемки видео одна из колонок слегка расклеилась, вы можете видеть это на фотографии. Капля суперклея вопрос, конечно, решит. И ладно, подумаешь! Склеим. Соберем. Сами спаяем, если надо.
